How's the urban planning profession job outlook right now?

I'm in college right now majoring in urban and city planning. How is gonna be like finding a job when i graduate? I go to cal poly pomona Thanks Tim !

1. damn it. i wanted to study that. I heard theres lots of jobs, which college r u in? dang cal poly, i applied there, somehow they just disregard my application, never heard from them until college was about to start. I was also going to Ball State too, heard they've got good urban planning program. Anyways dude, could you email like what you guys been learning and stuff? What should I be taking right now if I want to transfer to a urban planning school? by the way, good luck on the job search. I heard from my HS counselors that it is very easy to get a job once you're out of Cal Poly. A lot of opportunities especially for Urban Planning. You might be working for private firms, however, with mediocre wage. Some people go on with M. Urban planning or M. Architecture.
